MRC is now a global, chapter-based community (100+ chapters) focused on inclusive, no‑drop social runs followed by beers at local bars/breweries. Membership and chapter info are managed via the Mikkeller Running Club app (members receive a membership card and bar/partner discounts); chapter schedules and formats vary by city (short social runs, pace groups, intervals, monthly longer runs, etc.).

Retiro Running
Madrid, Spain
Retiro Running is a social running club centered on El Retiro Park in Madrid. The club emphasizes community, language exchange (Spanish/English) and socialising alongside regular runs — members come from a diverse international background (reported from 64+ countries). Beyond runs the group organises “Meet & Chill” social events (karaoke, bowling, picnics), seasonal challenges (e.g., “Meteocrazys”) and a weekly Retiro Running League with rankings. Participation is flexible: the club offers a two-week free trial when registering via their site/Meetup and low-cost drop-in or subscription options for regular access.
