About Blacklist LA
A nonprofit run organization fusing urban art and running. Founded in 2013, Blacklist LA is famous for its Monday night “Art Runs,” ~3–4 mile community runs that explore Los Angeles murals and street art. Hundreds of runners (all paces) gather weekly at 9 PM to run through different neighborhoods – the group stops at a featured mural, where run leaders share info about the artwork before a big group photo. Beyond Art Runs, Blacklist hosts Wednesday track workouts, Friday morning “Morning Miles,” and Sunday coffee runs, engaging over 10,000 Angelenos annually. The vibe is inclusive and lively – they literally run with speakers to create a moving party, and everyone is invited. It’s free to join and all about community and city pride.
Detailed Schedule
Art runs at 9 p.m. Monday in various locations; track workouts at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Crenshaw High School; Lista female-led runs at Los Angeles High School at 7 p.m. Thursday; and long runs in Griffith Park at 7 a.m. Saturday.
