About Front Runners De Paris

Front Runners de Paris is an LGBTQIA+ and ally running association founded in 1992 and affiliated with the Fédération Sportive LGBT+ (FSGL). The club runs year-round with collective group runs open to all levels, organises road and trail outings, weekend trail trips, and social/cultural activities (guided visits, readings, parties, etc.). It also organises signature events such as the annual Saint‑Valentin race (5 km duo and 10 km) and participates in wider LGBT+ sporting events (EuroGames, Gay Games). The association promotes inclusion, community and conviviality while offering both recreational and competitive pathways (FFA licences available).

What to Expect

Expect an inclusive, friendly group run open to all levels. Sessions are collective footings (social runs) held year-round in Paris parks; volunteers and organisers help integrate newcomers. The club mixes running with social and cultural activities (cafés, readings, parties) and organises special events such as the Saint‑Valentin race.

Leadership

The association is volunteer-run. For the 2025–2026 season the board includes President Mélanie (presidence@frontrunnersparis.org), Vice‑President Benjamin, Treasurers Thibaut and Mathieu, and Secretaries Christophe and Sébastien. Pole responsibles include Baptiste (races), Guillaume (trail), Romaric (textile/shop), Johann (Saint‑Valentin & festivities), Tristan (communications), Tom (inclusion/activism), and Régis (culture & volunteering).
