No More Lonely Runs (NMLR)
About No More Lonely Runs (NMLR)
A women-led social run club launched in 2023 to make running in NYC a more communal experience. NMLR meets every Saturday morning (8 AM in summer, 9 AM in winter) for a group run (~3–6 miles) alternating between Central Park and the West Side Highway. Runs are followed by coffee, bagels, and plenty of conversation – the club’s origin was a post-run coffee where members said “same time next week?”. All paces and levels are welcome (some run 3 miles, others 6). The focus is on friendship, consistency, and making running less lonely. They also hold Wednesday 6:30 PM speed workouts open to all levels. Expect a supportive, upbeat vibe where newcomers quickly feel at home.
